You never see your clients' entries.
Nothing is shared with you. Not their check-ins, not their messages, not their journal. There is no counselor login and no dashboard, so there is nothing for you to open.
Your code tells us only that a couple arrived through you, so we can keep a count. We do not tell you who they are, and you never receive any of their content.

What does it cost?
Nothing for you. Counselors are free.
Do I get any client information?
No. You never see your clients' entries and nothing is shared with you. Your code only lets us count the couples who arrived through it.
What about HIPAA?
CoupleChord is not a HIPAA covered entity, and you receive no protected health information from us. Your clients' entries stay between the two of them, so there is nothing from CoupleChord for your practice to store. If your practice's policies need a conversation about that, write to support@couplechord.com.
Do you pay counselors for referrals?
No. CoupleChord pays no commission, referral fee, bonus, credit or gift to any counselor, and a code earns the couple nothing either. Counselor ethics codes and licensing boards generally bar paid referrals, so we do not offer them. The code only lets us count how couples arrived.
How do codes work?
Your code is short and printed on your handout. A couple enters it in the app, or opens a link that carries it. We record that they arrived with your code, and only the first code a person uses counts.
Is it available on iPhone?
Not yet. Today it is Android, and we will say so plainly when that changes. It works best when both partners can use it.
